2 Population of the Study

Population is known as the investigation of ‘well-defined’ set of objects or individuals with similar observable characteristics (M. & G., 2003). Target population the number of all people, objects or events to which research generalize the hypothetical results of the study.

3 Sampling Techniques

The subset of population which signifies its characteristics is known as sampling. A researcher must be capable of making generalizable interpretations about the parameters of population from the sample statistics (Saunders & Thornhill, 2012). It is a statistical or scientific method of choosing the sampling units which would offer the necessary assessments related with their margins of improbability, this will only emerge from the analysis of sample not the entire population (Saunders et al, 2012). A random sampling technique is used because it eliminates bias by providing all individuals an equal probability to be chosen.

Sample size which is drawn from population must be large and it should have proportionate relationship with it. In research the level of precision, confidence and the degree of variability in attributes is the criteria to determine the sample size. 250 questionnaires will be distributed among the individuals of lower and middle management.

Data Collection

Generally there are two ways of data collection named as primary source and secondary source. Sources of primary data will those which originate in the period of research, such as: questionnaires and interviews etc. (Greener, 2008). Sources of secondary data will interpretations of certain events of particular period of research (Greener, 2008). This is an empirical research which will use primary source of data collection from the IT sector under study, structured questionnaire will be used for this research. Questionnaires will distribute physically and will also administer via e- mail. Questionnaire is a data collecting instrument in which selected group of respondents are requested to complete written questions to discover what they think, do or feel (Collis & Hussey, 2013).
